Intentional or negligent breaches of construction and operating requirements, notification, evidence, measurement, monitoring, reporting, record-retention and retrofit duties constitute administrative offences under Section 62(1) no. 2 or no. 7 of the Federal Immission Control Act. The regulation itself does not specify a monetary amount.

Vorsätzliche oder fahrlässige Verstöße gegen die Anforderungen an Errichtung und Betrieb, Anzeige-, Nachweis-, Mess-, Überwachungs-, Berichts-, Aufbewahrungs- und Nachrüstungspflichten sind Ordnungswidrigkeiten nach § 62 Absatz 1 Nummer 2 oder Nummer 7 des Bundes-Immissionsschutzgesetzes. Die Verordnung selbst nennt keine konkrete Bußgeldhöhe.
