Description (English)
Fines that effectively deprive those responsible of the economic benefits derived from the infringement, with increased fines for repeated infringements. For relevant Union-wide infringements, the maximum fine must be at least 4% of the trader’s annual turnover in the Member State or Member States concerned.
Description (German)
Geldbußen, die die aus dem Verstoß erzielten wirtschaftlichen Vorteile wirksam entziehen; bei wiederholten Verstößen ist die Geldbuße zu erhöhen. Bei unionsweiten Verstößen muss der Höchstbetrag mindestens 4 % des Jahresumsatzes des Händlers im betroffenen Mitgliedstaat oder in den betroffenen Mitgliedstaaten betragen.
