The operator must have compliance with the applicable emission and operating requirements monitored regularly; certain oil- and gas-fired plants are subject to a three- or two-year cycle, or a five-year cycle where continuous self-calibrating combustion control is installed.

Der Betreiber muss die Einhaltung der jeweiligen Emissions- und Betriebsanforderungen regelmäßig überwachen lassen; für bestimmte Öl- und Gasfeuerungsanlagen gilt ein drei- oder zweijähriger Turnus, bei selbstkalibrierender kontinuierlicher Regelung ein fünfjähriger Turnus.
