The Länder must adapt their remuneration law within one year after promulgation, taking account of the common interests of all public employers, insofar as the Federal Salary Act and this Act contain only framework provisions.

Die Länder müssen ihr Besoldungsrecht innerhalb eines Jahres nach der Verkündung unter Berücksichtigung der gemeinsamen Belange aller Dienstherren anpassen, soweit das Bundesbesoldungsgesetz und dieses Gesetz nur Grundsatzvorschriften enthalten.
